Short guides, about a minute each.

Getting started

Sign up, find your weak areas, set up your plan.

  1. Sign up. Enter your name, email and a password, tick the box for the terms and privacy notice, then tap Create account. We email you a confirmation link. Open it on the same device you signed up on.
  2. Take the 50-item diagnostic. It is one mixed paper across all 8 OLE areas, with a timer. It shows where you stand and picks your three weakest areas. You get one attempt free.
  3. Set up your plan. On Board prep, tap Set up my plan. It takes about a minute. See "Building your plan" for each setting.
  4. Do your first day. Open Today's plan on Board prep and work through the four blocks. Tick each task as you finish it.

Building your plan

What each setting does and what a study day looks like.

Open Board prep, then Set up my plan. You can change any of this later with Edit plan, and the plan rebuilds around it.

  • OLE date. The first day of your exam. Until PRC announces it, the plan uses an estimate and says so. To plan for a different sitting, tap My own date.
  • Start date. Today, or a later day such as right after finals.
  • Weekdays and Weekends. How long you can study on each. School and clinic days are different, so you set them separately.
  • Rest day. One day off every week. The day before it is a timed mock day.
  • Pauses. Tap Add a pause for exam week, a heavy rotation or holidays. The plan works around those dates.
  • Weak areas. Set from your diagnostic. Those areas get extra time, and an area leaves the list once your accuracy holds at 75% across 20 or more items.

The stages

StageWhenWhat you do
FoundationMore than about 120 days outEvery area in turn, about two weeks each, at a lighter load.
Weak subjectsAbout 120 to 45 days outHeavy focus on your weakest areas.
Full coverage and timingAbout 45 to 14 days outEvery area at exam pace, timed sets, a mock every week.
Sharpen and taperThe last 14 daysLighter days: traps, quick wins and sleep.
Exam daysThe eve and each exam dayNight-before review of that day's areas.

A study day has four blocks

  1. Recall the backlog. Old misses come back just before you would forget them.
  2. Learn, then rebuild blind. Read one topic, close it, then rebuild it on paper from memory.
  3. Drill under the clock. A timed set at exam pace.
  4. Reckon with the misses. For each miss, write why the wrong answer looked right.

Each task has a checkbox. Miss a day and the plan moves on. Only your due review cards carry over.

Foundations or Board prep?

The switch at the top of the app, and when to use each side.

Foundations
Learn every subject from the basics
Notes, levels 1 to 3, practice questions, subject exams.
Board prep
Train for the OLE
Today's plan, Top 2 reviewers, cards, interactives, mocks and the CBLE simulator.

Use Foundations if you are still in school, working through subjects for the first time, or a clinician brushing up. Read the notes, pass levels 1 to 3 in a subject, and its exam unlocks.

Use Board prep if you are an intern or board taker, or within about a year of the OLE. This is where Today's plan lives.

When to switch: start on Foundations and move to Board prep when the exam is close, or whenever you want exam-style material. You can use both. Your progress, streaks and review queue are shared.

Free, trial and Pro

What you get for free, what Pro adds, and how passes work.

Free

  • 20 practice questions a day from a fixed free sample, with full explanations.
  • The first section of every notes subject is open.
  • The 50-item diagnostic, once, and a readiness score for each area.
  • Today's plan is fully visible. Tasks that need Pro show a lock.
  • Streaks, XP, badges and your saved progress are always free.

Pro

Anything with a Pro tag opens with Pro: every notes section, all practice questions without the daily limit, the review queue, the Top 2 reviewers, cards and interactives, full subject exams and timed mocks.

Trial and pass codes

  • 7-day trial. On the Free vs Pro page, tap Start my 7-day pass. You can use it once, so start it when you are ready to study.
  • Pass code. On the Free vs Pro page, type it under Have a pass code? and tap Redeem. A code gives you Pro for the time it was set for.

Nothing you did is ever deleted when a pass ends. Your history waits for you.

How to pay with QR Ph

Scan, pay the exact amount, upload your receipt.

  1. Pick a pass. Open Free vs Pro and choose a pass under Get Pro. You will see a page that says Send exactly and an amount with centavos.
  2. Scan the QR. Open GCash, Maya or most bank apps and scan the QR Ph code. On the same phone, tap Save QR image and upload it in your app's QR scanner.
  3. Check the name. The recipient name should be WYRLO ALBERT A. Any other name means stop, because that is not our code.
  4. Pay the exact amount, centavos included. The centavos are how we tell your payment from everyone else's, so please do not round. Some banks add a small InstaPay fee on top. That is fine, as long as the full amount arrives.
  5. Upload your receipt. Take a screenshot of the receipt, type the reference number, attach the screenshot, and tap I've paid, send for checking.

You get 48 hours of Pro straight away while we check your payment. We match it by hand, usually within a day, and email you.

What happens next

  • Being checked. Your payment is in the queue. This page updates by itself.
  • Confirmed. Your pass starts and we send an email. A new pass begins when your current access ends.
  • Not confirmed. We could not match it. The reason shows under Your payments.

Your review queue and progress

Why old misses come back, and where to see how ready you are.

Every question you miss is saved to your Review queue. It comes back after a short gap, then a longer one, then longer again, until you get it right enough times to stick. This is spaced review, and it is why a miss today is not a miss on exam day.

  • Free accounts see how many misses are waiting. Pro opens the queue and the 10-minute drill.
  • The queue mixes subjects on purpose. It feels harder and works better.
  • Due cards also show up as the first block of Today's plan.

Progress

Tap Progress in the top bar. On Board prep it shows Board readiness: your score by area for each of the 8 OLE areas, from your diagnostic, exams and mocks. On Foundations it shows your foundation area by area.

Your account

Emails, feedback, signing out and deleting your data.

Tap your initial at the top right of the app, then Account.

  • Share your experience. Tell us what works and what does not. A short quote for the home page is optional and only shown if you say so.
  • Change password and your name are on the same page.
  • Sign out is in the account menu.
